Case Converter

Convert text to UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case or Sentence case.

About this tool

This case converter changes the capitalization of your text. Fix text typed with Caps Lock on, turn headlines into Title Case, or normalize messy input into clean Sentence case — then copy the result with one click.

The four modes

  • UPPERCASE — every letter becomes a capital. Good for headings, acronym-style labels or emphasis.
  • lowercase — every letter becomes small. Handy for e-mail addresses, tags, usernames and file names.
  • Title Case — the first letter of every word is capitalized, as in headlines and book titles.
  • Sentence case — only the first letter of each sentence is capitalized, turning shouty or all-lowercase text into normal prose.

Frequently asked questions

I typed a whole paragraph with Caps Lock on. Which mode fixes it?

Choose Sentence case. It lowercases everything and then re-capitalizes the first letter after each period, question mark or exclamation mark — no retyping needed.

Does Title Case skip small words like "and" or "the"?

No — every word is capitalized, which matches how most people use title case informally. Style guides that lowercase short connecting words (AP, Chicago) differ on the details, so review the result if you follow one strictly.

Does it work with accented and non-English letters?

Yes. Conversion uses Unicode-aware rules, so letters like é, ö, ü and ç are recognized and converted correctly.

Is my text private?

Yes. Everything runs in your browser — your text is never uploaded or stored anywhere.
